“To prevent more bloodshed and destruction and the possibility of another war with its resulting catastrophes, we must work very seriously and fast for a peaceful solution to the Israel/Palestine conflict,” said Al-Haaj Ghazi Y Khankan, Chairperson of the “Peace in Jerusalem & the Holy Land Study Group.” He believes that in spite of the 64 years of violence since the establishment of Israel in 1948, “a peaceful solution is still possible, indeed a must” he said.
Recently, Rabbi Bennett Hermann of Temple E manuel of Long Beach and Msgr Donald Beckmann of St Ignatius Martyr RC of Long Beach, presented to the Study Group their ideas on how to resolve this festering problem in the Middle East.

On Tuesday, March 27, 2012, at 7 pm, at the Long Beach Public Library, 111 W Park Ave., Long Beach, Al- Haaj Ghazi Khankan will propose a peaceful solution.
