Nutcracker Performances

We ring in the holiday season with Tchaikovsky’s classic ballet, the Nutcracker.   The South Shore Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of Music Director and Conductor Scott Jackson Wiley and in collaboration with Leggz Ltd Dance under the Artistic Direction of Joan Hope

MacNaughton, presents the full length ballet at South Side High School in Rockville Centre on Friday December 6th at 7:30 pm, Saturday December 7th at 5 pm and Sunday December 8th at 4 pm.  In addition to the composer’s full score, this magical extravaganza features talented and gifted young dancers from all over the metropolitan area and guest ballet stars of international prestige accompanied by a full symphony orchestra.

The 65-member South Shore Symphony Orchestra is one of the premiere symphony orchestras of Long Island and is an associate of the Rockville Centre Guild for the Arts based in Rockville Centre, NY.
