Oct. 3: Hometown NFLer in the Making, Soccer Success

  1. One Rockville Centre resident is very close to playing for the NFL's Green Bay Packers. Come back at noon for the full story.
  2. The South Side girls varsity soccer team has started its season 6-0, while outscoring opponents 20-0. Head coach Shannon McEntee has been a big part of the team's success. Click here to read all about the head coach and how she started.
  3. Speaking of soccer, the boys varsity team takes on a tough Garden City squad today at 4:30 p.m. at Skelos Field. After a hot 4-0-1 start, the team has now dropped two straight. Be there to cheer on the Cyclones.
  4. Speaking of Skelos Field, a couple of residents have started talking about steps to keep the area a little safer after multiple larcenies at the field in the last couple of weeks.
  5. Is Rockville Centre going to be stumped on this week's "How Well Do You Know Rockville Centre?" Certainly looks like it. Go ahead and give it your best shot!
