Wells Fargo Oceanside Store Reopens Following Sandy Repair

Long Island Sandy customer assistance hub moved to Island Park.

More than 13 weeks after Hurricane Sandy hit the region, Wells Fargo’s Oceanside store has reopened following the completion of storm repairs.

Wells Fargo’s Oceanside store is located at 3584 Long Beach Road.

“We are excited and relieved to reopen our Oceanside store,” said Joe Kirk, Wells Fargo’s New York and Connecticut regional president. “We thank our customers for visiting surrounding stores and using our online, ATM and 24-hour customer service capabilities while we worked to remediate Sandy’s impact on these stores.”

At the height of Hurricane Sandy, more than 770 Wells Fargo stores were closed in the Northeast. Seven stores sustained enough damage to be closed long-term. Those in New Jersey still under repair are in Ocean City, Monmouth Beach and Seaside Park. Hoboken, West New York and Little Ferry reopened last week.

To commemorate the grand reopening of the Oceanside store, Wells Fargo team members have been hosting a customer appreciation week starting all week where light refreshments will be served and customers will have the opportunity to meet with bankers.

Store hours are Monday to Wednesday 9 a.m. to 5 p.m., Thursday to Friday 8 a.m. to 6 p.m., Saturday 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. The bank is closed Sunday, but customers can still access services 24-7 using their ATMs, online at www.wellsfargo.com and using our apps for smartphones and tablets.
