Mercy Medical Ranked Among Best Hospitals in New York State

U.S. News & World Report rankings cite high performance In orthopedics.

In the latest recognition of the safety and quality of the care provided to its patients, has been ranked among the top 20 percent of hospitals in New York State in the annual ratings of Best Hospitals by U.S. News and World Report.

The prestigious assessment placed Mercy 38th among the more than 200 hospitals in New York, recognized Mercy as a “high performing” hospital in orthopedics, and noted that Mercy “scored high in patient safety.”

“We are extremely pleased to add recognition by U.S. News and World Report to the many awards that attest to our dedication to patient safety and the superior care that we provide to our patients,” said Dr. Aaron Glatt, Mercy’s Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer.
