Hess Has Cheapest Gas in RVC

Every resident is searching for ways to cut costs, and travel expenses is one area where it can be done. Finding the lowest local gas prices can help save you a few bucks, so here's a guide to find those inexpensive pumps around the village. The gas prices listed below were compiled today, Aug. 26.

According to motortrend.com, the Hess at 580 Sunrise Highway sells the cheapest regular, plus and premium gas in the village. At $2.75 per gallon for regular, $2.95 for plus and $3.05 for premium, Hess beats out the other six stations in Rockville Centre. For diesel fuel, the Mobil station at 345 Sunrise Highway offers the cheapest price, selling it at $2.89 a gallon.

If you don't mind traveling a few extra blocks to fill up your tank, the Gulf station at 2962 Long Beach Rd. in Oceanside sells regular gas at $2.71 per gallon, which is the lowest of Rockville Centre's neighboring village gas stations.

In contrast, the highest priced regular gas is sold at the Gulf station at 2 Sunrise Highway at $2.93 a gallon. It also sells the highest priced plus and premium gas at $3.15 and $3.25, respectively. The Gulf station at 36o Sunrise Highway sells the most expensive diesel fuel at $3.35 per gallon.
