This Weekend's Local Garage Sales

Sometimes we find what we're looking for when we least expect it. Scouring garage sales is a good way to find what you want at a discount price.

With that in mind, here's a list of local weekend garage sales. Check out the map adjacent to the article for directions to each sale.

Sept. 4, 5

Where: 2846 Len Drive, Bellmore
When: 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
What's being sold: Baby and kids' toys, toddler clothing and furniture, wood Kingdom swing set, car seats, Belinni Vanessa crib, glass table and chairs and televisions.

Sept. 4

Where: 4th and Waukena Avenue, Oceanside
When: 9 a.m. - 3 p.m.
What's being sold: Kids and adult clothing, baby toys, couches, bookshelves, dressers and televisions.

Sept. 4

Where: Corner of Princess Street and Bellmore Ave., Bellmore
When: 9 a.m. - 2 p.m.
What's being sold: Kitchen and novelty items, maternity clothes, dresses and children's toys.

Sept. 5

Where: 2723 Belle Rd, Bellmore
When: 8 a.m. - 5 p.m.
What's being sold: Two Herman Miller chairs, Stackmore bent leg foldable chairs, vintage tables, American, Russian and European un-framed and framed art work, antique books, cameras, bicycles, housewares, bar needs, crystal, glassware, stereo equipment, jewelry, Singer sewing machine, antique pottery and lighting.
