South Shore Symphony to Perform at St. Agnes

Conductor Scott Jackson Wiley will lead the orchestra on Sunday night at 7:30 p.m.

The South Shore Symphony Orchestra, under the baton of music director and Conductor Scott Jackson Wiley, will be performing at the in Rockville Centre on Sunday, May 20 at 7:30 p.m. 

The 65-member orchestra will be performing with the Diocesan Choir of Rockville Centre under the direction of Michael Wustrow and Soprano Soloist Christina Franco. The performance will include Mozart’s Laudate Dominum, Haydn’s Te Deum, and Glorious is the Lord Almighty strings and Beethoven’s Fifth Symphony.

The South Shore Symphony Orchestra is one of the premiere orchestras of Long Island. Currently celebrating its 27th season, it is an associate of the Rockville Centre Guild for the Arts and is based in Rockville Centre.

The performance is free to the public, but a donation is requested of $10 or $15. The cathedral is located at 29 Quealy Place in Rockville Centre and is wheelchair accessible.
