Weekly screening to be held Thursdays at 9 p.m.

The newly formed Rockville Centre Film Society will hold its first screening this week.

Starting April 4 at 9 p.m., the society will host a weekly movie screening every Thursday at Revolution Yoga, located at 7 N. Village Ave.

"Revolution Yoga is making an effort to nourish and support the local art scene, holding an art gallery show every few months, as well as poetry slams and open mic's with the Rockville Centre Youth Council," said Chad DePasquale, co-curator of the film society. "We are hoping to now do the same with the local filmmaking community.
