The Jillian E. Daly Foundation is hosting its third annual Rockville Centre alumni lacrosse game June 8.
The game will start at Skelos Field at 1 p.m. and will be followed by a benefit at Kasey's Kitchen & Cocktails from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
The benefit is $40 and includes an open bar, appetizers and many raffles.
The Jillian E. Daly Foundation was created in 2011 in memory of Rockville Centre resident Jillian Daly.
Daly was an active member of the RVC community -- she was captain of the swim team, gymnastics team, as well as Red & Blue.
At 24 years old, Daly passed away from a rare blood disorder. To help keep her memory alive, Daly's friends and family created this foundation to spread awareness about auto immune diseases and to help raise money for auto immune research.
