Reach for the Stars Teen Talent Search Contest Returns to Nassau

Applications must be postmarked by June 24; auditions slated for July 7.

Nassau County Executive Edward P. Mangano announced the return of the very popular Reach for the Stars Teen Talent Search Contest. The competition will be for solo vocal talent only.

Two winners from prior year competitions moved on to "American Idol" fame: Robbie Rosen in 2009 and Kevin Covais in 2003.

“We have some many talented young people here in our great county,” said County Executive Mangano.  “I urge all interested teens to take advantage of this opportunity to showcase their talents as we bring back our Reach for the Stars Teen Talent Search Contest.”
