Rockville Centre Recreation Center
The recreation center is open from Monday to Friday from 9 a.m. to 11 p.m., and 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Saturday and until 6 p.m. on Sunday. It offers indoor basketball, gymnastics and volleyball during the week, and it's free!

Fantasy Movie Theater
The theater on Park Avenue has an array of movies to suit your mood, whether you're looking for a good laugh or want to be scared out of your seat. The price of admission for adults is $10.50 and children ages 2-8 is $ 7. The Fantasy is playing Nanny McPhee Returns, Piranha 3D, Eat Pray Love, Scott Pilgrim vs. The World, Dinner for Schmucks and Inception. Click here for showtimes.

The bowling alley at 100 Maple Avenue offers one free game per day for any kid registered at RVC Lanes until Aug. 31. Click here to register. On Wednesdays at 4:30 p.m., they offer a "Mommy and Me" family bowling program, and for $10, you receive 1.5 hours of bowling, in addition to a free kids' meal and drink.
Artrageous
Open from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m., this art store on N. Village Avenue shows customers how to paint pottery, create sculptures with clay and fuse glass into beautiful designs. Call ahead at 255-5255 to find out what classes it holds every day.
Hot Skates Roller Skating Rink
Located at 14 Merrick Road near the border of Lynbrook and Rockville Centre, this indoor rink offers public skating during the week from 1- 3 p.m. and costs $10 for kids and $11 for adults. Skate rental is $3. Click here for the weekly summer schedule.
