Proceeds from the art show went to support girl scouts in Japan who were impacted by the earthquake and tsunami.

On May 11 at the TD Bank on Merrick Road, Leggz Ltd.'s young artists hosted an art show to display their watercolor paintings alongside the RVC Junior Girl Scout Troop 960, who sold their origami cranes to help others in need.

The proceeds from the sales went to the GSUSA Japan Relief Fund to aid sister Girl Scouts in Japan who have been affected by the devastating earthquake and tsunami. All of the origami cranes were personally signed in Japanese during the event.

Molloy College artists were also represented through their artwork as well as other artists from the area.
