No. 84 — Craft Your Skills at ARTrageous

Up next on our countdown of 100 things to do in Rockville Centre, test your arts and craft skills at ARTrageous, the North Village art studio that offers classes on painting, glass fusing and creating out of clay.

The studio hosts parties for all ages and occasions: kids, adults, bridal or baby showers, bachelorette parties and a "Ladies Night Out." A children's party costs about $30 a kid, and for nearly two hours, kids can enjoy food, refreshments and hands-on instruction on pottery painting.

For women and men who want to have fun without the kids, there are four sessions for adults: Sampler class, creating with clay, pottery painting and glass fusing. They all run about $107. They also offer adult workshops on a variety of painting and craft activities ranging from $45 to $100.

Don't know how to paint? Or make crafts out of clay? No worries. Trained professionals at the studio are on-hand to help you create whatever your imagination desires.
