Nightlife Happenings in RVC

When the sun sets, the parties are just getting started in RVC.

Be a "Wing" Man (or Woman)

When you want your fill of scrumptious wings, head over to Croxley's Ale House. On Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday from 5 p.m. to 1 a.m., enjoy 10 cent wings, and eat up 10 cent boneless wings every Thursday starting at 5 p.m. While the crisp is in the ale, wash it all down with a glass of Croxley Pumpkin Ale.

Dance the Night Away

You want to put on your dancing shoes, but you're craving something a little bit different than the usual tunes that you swing your hips to. Check out the live reggae band, playing every Saturday night in September, at Dunns River Lounge. The music starts at 10 p.m. and plays until 3:30 a.m. There is a $10 cover charge after 10 p.m.

Register for Bowling Now

Registration is officially open for the fall leagues at RVC Lanes, located on Maple Avenue. Leagues are wide and varied and include "Rockville Ladies," "Friday Early Mixed," "Bowl Ink Tattoo League" and "Wednesday Night Mixed." Some of the leagues have already started, but registration is still listed as open.

Relax and Unwind

By Wednesday, most people are just begging for the weekend to arrive. Give yourself a little midweek boost instead. The Rockville Centre Library is offering an early fall evening yoga classes at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays. The price is $25 for six sessions, and you can register at the adult reference desk.
