Several senior centers in Town of Hempstead are joining Long Island Crisis Center to host free workshops.
Nearby Oceanside and Merrick Senior Centers will host the workshops on Friday at 12:15 p.m. and May 22 at 11 a.m. respectively.
The workshops are aimed at helping seniors face challenges related to medical issues, grieving the loss of loved ones, and isolation. Programs include a 30-minute presentation and question-and-answer sessions.
