'Living With Diabetes During the Holidays' Set for Dec. 12

Mercy Medical Center is hosting a free lecture on "Living With Diabetes During the Holidays" to be presented at the Bellmore Memorial Library on Dec. 12 at 11 a.m.
The hour-long presentation will be given by Dr. Michael Moskowitz of Bellmore Family Practice.
The focus on food and drink during the Christmas Season can be a trying time for diabetics and their families, but Moskowitz will explain how proper planning for holiday mealtimes can enable diabetics to enjoy every bit of the celebrating.
