From Montauk to Westhampton Beach, here are some of the hottest events happening in the Hamptons this weekend

MONTAUK

On Friday and Saturday, from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m., the Star Island Yacht Club and Marina will host it's 19th annual Make-Thresther Mania Tournament. There is over $120,000 in prize money ready to be handed out.

The Montauk Community Playhouse is hosting a Diamond in the Rough Gala on Saturday from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. The event honors celebrates who contribute to the East End's vitality.

The Sole East Resort and the Hamptons International Film Festival will present four surf films as part of of the Summer Sunday Classics fil series.  The films will be shown on Sunday from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m.

AMAGANSETT

This annual contest will take place on the Atlantic Avenue Beach in Amagansett on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. 

The East Hampton Rotary Club annual 10K Run, 5K Walk "Run for Ron" race will be held on Saturday at 9 a.m. at Denniston Bell Park. Proceeds from the race will benefit East End Hospice and the East Hampton Rotary Club’s charities.

The First Presbyterian Church of Amagansett will host its 98th annual Summer Fair, which includes games for children, pony rides, a petting zoo, a "moon bounce," face painting and more on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.

A Homerun Derby will be held on Sunday at noon to kick-off the Travis Field Memorial Softball Tournament with a bracket-style head to head Homerun Derby at the Terry King Softball Field. A fundraiser follows at Harbor Grill in East Hampton at 7 p.m.

SPRINGS

The Springs Improvement Society and the Art Committee for the Springs Invitational will host the 44th Annual Artists of The Springs Invitational Exhibition Friday through 21 at Ashawagh Hall. The exhibition will be open on Friday from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m.

EAST HAMPTON

This event take place at Guild Hall on Friday at 8 p.m.  The price is $30.

On Saturday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., Mulford Farm will be filled with over 75 dealers with a wide variety of collectible fine and decorative arts.

The 65th annual Clothesline Art Sale, featuring original oil, acrylic and watercolor paintings, as well as prints, collages, photography and small sculptures by East End artists, will take place on Saturday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.

The annual St. Luke's fair, over 125 years old, will take place on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. with games, food, and prizes. There will be pony rides, face painting, games, hamburgers and hotdogs, drinks, and people dressed in vintage clothing.

Former U.S. Ambassador to Israel Martin Indyk will speak about foreign policy on Sunday at 11 a.m. at the Jewish Center of the Hamptons. The event is open to all.

Dick Cavett, a part-time resident and the 2011 Guild Hall Lifetime Achievement Award Winner in the Performing Arts, will be interviewed on stage with author Eric Metaxas on Sunday at 7:30 p.m. at Guild Hall.

BRIDGEHAMPTON

The 3 Piggy Opera

The Bridgehampton Summer Drama Program will present its First Annual Production of The 3 Piggy Opera on Saturday at noon. Tickets are $5.

The work of Sydney Licht will be on show at Kathryn Marke; Fine Arts in Bridgehampton on Saturday from 5 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. The event is free.

Join Beth Ostrosky Stern and friends for an inspiring evening of Core Fusion to benefit the Wildlife Rescue Center of the Hamptons at 2415 Main Street in Bridgehampton from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m on Saturday. The class is open to all.  The cost is $75.

Polo player superstar Nacho Figueras' Black Watch team will take on Peter Brant's White Birch team every Saturday from July 23 to Aug. 27. The match starts at 6 p.m. at Two Trees Stables, 849 Hayground Road.

SOUTHAMPTON

Dorothea Rockburne, whose retrospective exhibit is on view at the museum, will discuss her work in "Foundations," on Saturday at 6 p.m. at the Parrish Art Museum in Southampton.

The annual summer party, held under a tent in Southampton at the corner of Wickapogue Road and Old Town Road, will benefit the Jenny and John Paulson Emergency Department at . The event will be held on Saturday from 6:30 p.m. to 11 p.m.

SAG HARBOR

A benefit for the Peconic Land Trust, "Through Farms and Fields Country Supper" will be held at Ocean View Farm, 83 Brick Kiln Road on Sunday at 4:30 p.m. The price is $275.

HAMPTON BAYS

Carnival

The Hampton Bays Fire Department is hosting a carnival on its grounds, 69 W. Montauk Highway on Friday, Saturday and Sunday at 7 p.m. 

The  Fluke Shootout will take place on Saturday, from at 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. First place gets $750. A captain's meeting will take place at 7:30 p.m. on Friday

QUOGUE

Author of Democracy's Lawyer, J. Roderick Helloer will be at the Quogue Library on Sunday from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. to discuss his book.

WESTHAMPTON BEACH

This event will take place on the great lawn on Saturday and Sunday from 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.

See the New York City Opera at the Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center on Saturday at 8:30 p.m. Tickets are $100.
