What are you plans for tonight and this weekend? Looking for something new to try before the summer is over? Patch has compiled some suggestions.

In Rockville Centre, every day of the summer through Aug. 31, kids can bowl free at from 9 a.m. – 9 p.m. After a game, grab a bite to eat — there's so many choices in the village! Then you can check out a movie at the . Arrange a babysitter for rest of the night and head on over to to see their newly-opened rooftop bar, Rooftop 32.

In Long Beach, tonight and every Thursday at Neptune Boulevard Beach is the . This week it's featuring FOG. Bring a chair or blanket; it starts at 8 p.m. Maybe pack up the family after dinner and take a stroll down the boardwalk, it's good exercise and it's not crowded at night. On Sundays, check out the Arts in the Plaza at from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m. Walk around and observe all the talented artists and their work, maybe even buy a piece.
In Cedarhurst on Tuesday nights, there's concerts under the Gazebo in the . Pre-shows start at 7 p.m. and the concert begins at 8 p.m. On Tuesday, Aug. 15, watch “Songs in the Key of Simcha” by Gary Wallin Orchestra, with a pre-show of Tony Corraco, the Ultimate Magician. This is also a block away from the shopping district, so stop there first and pick up a pizza or some sandwiches. After the show, how about some ?
