RVC Little League Dinner brings out a Major Leaguer to honor Joyce, Cecere, Molloy's White

Town of Hempstead Senior Councilman Anthony J. Santino, Nassau County Legislator Howard J. Kopel and Rockville Centre Mayor Fran Murray joined the Rockville Centre Little League for the organization's 63rd Annual Awards Dinner at the Coral House in Baldwin.

Councilman Santino, Legislator Kopel and Mayor Murray presented the Mort Geller Service Award to Rich Joyce, RVCLL Vice President - Softball and Frank Cecere, RVCLL Vice President - Administration.  Both men are retiring from their positions on the Executive Board.  New York Yankees relief pitcher Matt Daley also introduced the award winner.

Also honored was Dayna White, a Molloy College softball team player whose grand slam powered the third seeded Molloy College softball team into its second NCAA Division II East Region championship.
