Town of Hempstead Senior Councilman Anthony J. Santino joined Hempstead/Rockville Centre Boy Scouts Troop #300 for their recent Eagle Court of Honor, saluting Boy Scouts for achieving the highest rank in scouting.
Councilman Santino presented a Certificate of Recognition to new Eagle Scout Maalik Akil Burgess in honor of his successful completion of 21 merit badges, a satisfactory vote from the Eagle Board of Review and work on a community service Eagle project.
The Eagle Court of Honor took place at St. George’s Episcopal Church in Hempstead.
