Karp Autos Donates CPR Units to RVC Fire Department

Karp Auto Group president and CEO David Karp presented two  ‘Resusci Anne’ CPR training units to the RVC Fire Department worth $10k. RVC Mayor Murray presided over the presentation to RVC Fire Department Chief John Thorp, III and his colleagues. The cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) training units will allow Fire Department personnel to train area residents on the correct way to provide CPR.  When properly administered, CPR helps increase the survival rate of someone suffering from sudden cardiac arrest.

“We’re proud to present these important CPR training units to the Rockville Centre Fire Department whose members do so much for this wonderful community,” said David Karp.

The donation is part of the National Automobile Dealers Association’s community outreach program.  NADA’s program is administered locally by the Greater New York Automobile Dealers Association.
