VIDEO: Special Holiday Thrills at United Cerebral Palsy
Garden City Marines deliver toys; "American Idol" singer visits.
On Thursday, United Cerebral Palsy of Nassau County (UCPN) was abuzz with holiday activity.
First off, the boys and girls received a visit from members of the U.S. Marine Corps Reserves, stationed out of Garden City, who stopped by to drop off a few special gifts as part of their ongoing Toys for Tots program.
Next, the UCPN singing group, "Creation," received a special back-up singer in the form of former American Idol contestant and Levittown resident Kevin Covais.
And finally, everyone gathered in the auditorium to watch a performance of Rockville Centre's Leggz dance group.
