Baldwin Farmers Market Set to Open Saturday

New market will be open Saturdays from 9 a.m. - 1 p.m.

A brand new farmers market is coming to the area this Saturday.

The Baldwin Winter Farmers Market, run by G&G Long Island Farmers Markets, will open Feb. 16 and run every Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.

The farmers market is a rain or shine event and will be held at the Baldwin American Legion Post 246, located at 2754 Grand Ave., Baldwin.

The Baldwin Civic Association says that the new market will be "the only one of its kind in Nassau County."
